Nissan X-Trail Automatic Hire in Paphos
The Nissan X-Trail is the SUV in our rental fleet, and the car we suggest when a compact is not enough: a family with a lot of luggage, a group heading to a resort with golf bags, or anyone who wants more room and a higher driving position on longer drives. We have two versions, a 2017 and a 2020. This guide covers what each one offers, what it costs to rent or lease, and what to know before you book. Our fleet listing describes the 2017 model as a robust and comfortable SUV, perfect for families and exploring Cyprus, and the 2020 model as a modern SUV with advanced features, superior comfort and enhanced space. Who the X-Trail Suits
- Families with luggage. The boot takes suitcases, a pushchair and beach gear on airport day.
- Groups of friends. More room for passengers and bags than a hatchback.
- Golf and resort stays. Golf bags fit in an SUV far more easily than in a hatchback.
- Longer drives. A higher driving position and more space make a drive along the coast more comfortable.

It is not the easiest car for the narrow streets and tight parking around Kato Paphos and the old town. If you are a couple staying in town, a compact car is simpler.
2017 or 2020?
Choose the 2020 X-Trail if you want the most comfortable car we have, with its premium cabin. Choose the 2017 X-Trail if you want SUV space at a lower price, particularly on longer rentals. For a month or more, the difference is large: €800 a month on monthly rental for the 2017, against €1,500 for the 2020.
What the X-Trail Costs for Longer Stays
For stays of a month or more, compare monthly rental with leasing. A lease is a fixed-term agreement with a lower monthly figure. A monthly rental is more flexible.

Monthly rentals include vehicle maintenance, road tax and a replacement car when one is available. Leases include two free full services and one tyre change during the term, and the first 20,000 km, with extra distance at 75 cents per km. A refundable deposit of €900 applies to X-Trail leases. Driving the X-Trail Around Paphos
The X-Trail is at its best out of town. The motorway east towards Limassol is straightforward, and the coast road to Petra tou Romiou is an easy drive. North of Paphos, the roads to Coral Bay and Peyia climb and wind, and the automatic gearbox makes the hills easier. In Kato Paphos, use the public car parks near the harbour and walk the last few minutes.
An SUV is still a road car
Our terms do not allow off-road driving, dirt tracks, the Akamas region or Northern Cyprus, and damage there voids cover and makes the renter fully liable. The X-Trail's height is for comfort and luggage, not for tracks.
What You Need to Rent the X-Trail
- Drivers must be over 21, or have at least 3 years of driving experience.
- A valid driving licence and your passport or ID. The passport is left as security under our terms.
- Cash or a credit card in the renter's name. No credit card is needed. See renting without a credit card.
- A refundable deposit applies, and the amount depends on the vehicle category.
Good to Know Before You Book
- The minimum rental is 72 hours, and mileage is unlimited.
- Return the car with the same fuel level you received. Fuel is not included.
- Vehicles carry third-party insurance, and the renter is responsible for damage or theft subject to the excess limits. See our car rental insurance guide.
- Only the renter who signed the contract may drive.
- We have two X-Trails, so book early for July and August.
Delivery
When you rent with us, we deliver the X-Trail to your hotel, villa or home, free of charge, in Paphos town, at Paphos Airport and in Chloraka, Kissonerga, Peyia, Coral Bay, Tala, Empa and Mesa Chorio. Please book 24 hours before. At Paphos Airport, our agent meets you outside the arrivals terminal, and airport delivery runs 24 hours. Further out, call the shop; delivery there has an extra charge.
