There is a small refundable deposit (€500 for compact cars, €900 for the Nissan X-Trail, €1,200 for the Ford Transit van). Under our terms of service, the renter also leaves their passport as security at hire. Both are returned when the vehicle comes back in the agreed condition.

What You Need to Bring
The paperwork is short. Bring these with you on collection day:
- A valid driving licence. Drivers must be over 21, or have at least 3 years of driving experience. Mention your licence details when you book.
- Your passport or ID card. The passport is held as security during the rental, as described above.
- Cash or a credit card for payment. Debit cards are not accepted.
- Your booking confirmation. Your reference will look like CHMI-XXXXX.

Understanding Insurance and Liability
This is the part people skip, so we will spell it out. Our vehicles carry third-party insurance. If there is damage to the car or if it is stolen, the renter is responsible, subject to the excess limits in the rental agreement. The driver drives at their own risk, and the vehicle must be locked whenever it is parked.
- Only the renter named on the contract may drive.
- Do not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Off-road driving, the Akamas region and Northern Cyprus are not permitted.
- Traffic fines are the renter's responsibility.
- Return the car on time; late returns are charged an hourly fee stated in the contract.
After the contract is signed, refunds cannot be given, and there is no refund for returning the vehicle early. Please double-check your dates before you confirm.
