Car Rental Across Paphos and the Paphos District
CHMI Rentals has been renting cars in Paphos for over 23 years, and our customers are not all staying in the same place. Some land at Paphos Airport and drive straight to a harbour hotel. Others rent a villa in Coral Bay, spend the winter near Polis, or arrive at Larnaca and need to reach Paphos. This page shows where we serve, how getting your car and getting to your accommodation works, and which page to read for the area you are staying in.
Our shop is at Shop 3, Royal Complex, Tombs of the Kings Avenue, Paphos, open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 7pm. That is the only place we operate from. Every other area on this page is a place we deliver to and serve from that shop, not a separate office.
How Pick-Up and Delivery Work
- We deliver free in Paphos town, at Paphos Airport and in Chloraka, Kissonerga, Peyia, Coral Bay, Tala, Empa and Mesa Chorio, including the city centre, Kato Paphos, Universal and Geroskipou, and in Chloraka, Kissonerga, Peyia, Coral Bay, Tala, Empa and Mesa Chorio.
- It is not only the shop. When you rent with us, we can also take you straight to your hotel, villa or home, free of charge in Paphos town and these villages.
- Car delivery is free to hotels and villas in Paphos town and these villages. Further out, call the shop for the price.
- Book 24 hours before, so we can plan the pick-up and have your car ready.
- Airport delivery runs 24 hours, even though the shop closes at 7pm. Returns are during shop hours.
- Groups can ask about a minibus. Call the shop and we will explain the options and sizes.
Staying in Polis, Latchi or Aphrodite Hills?
These are not part of our delivery area. Collect the car at Paphos Airport or our shop, or call the shop on +357 99 655104 to ask about an arrangement; any delivery there has an extra charge.

Arriving at Larnaca Airport
Many flights land at Larnaca even when the holiday is in Paphos. When you rent with us, we can take you from Larnaca Airport to Paphos, and if you are travelling as a group we can arrange a minibus. What You Need to Rent
- A valid driving licence. Drivers must be over 21, or have at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Your passport or ID card. Under our terms, the passport is left as security and returned with the car.
- Cash or a credit card. Debit cards are not accepted, and you do not need a credit card if you pay in cash; see renting without a credit card.
Vehicles carry third-party insurance. The renter is responsible for damage or theft, subject to the excess limits in the agreement. Off-road driving, the Akamas region and Northern Cyprus are not permitted. Please read the full terms of service before you book.

- Town and harbour: a compact automatic is easy to park.
- Villas and longer drives: an SUV or crossover for comfort and luggage.
- Families with a lot of luggage: the automatic Nissan X-Trail.
- A season or more: long-term rental or leasing.
