Van Leasing and Long-Term Van Hire in Paphos
A business that needs a van every week has three choices: buy one, hire one each time, or lease one. Buying ties up money in a vehicle that loses value and needs servicing. Hiring by the day works for the odd job but adds up quickly. A lease gives you the same van for months at a fixed monthly figure. This guide explains how leasing our Ford Transit cargo van works, what it costs, what is included and what to check before you sign. The longer the term, the lower the monthly figure: a 6 to 12 month lease is €150 a month less than a 3 to 6 month lease. For 24 and 36 month terms, we do not publish a price, so call the shop for a quote. A refundable deposit of €1,200 applies, and our leasing calculator estimates the upfront payment as three monthly payments.
What Is Included
- Two free full services during the lease term.
- One tyre change during the lease term.
- The first 20,000 km. Extra distance is charged at 75 cents per km.
- Insurance arrangements are set out in your agreement, so read them before you sign.
Fuel, traffic fines and damage that falls to you under the agreement are not included. The van runs on diesel.
Leasing or Hiring by the Month?
If you are not sure how long you will need the van, a long-term rental is more flexible than a lease. Monthly rentals include vehicle maintenance, road tax and a replacement car when one is available. Ask us for a monthly rental quote for the van and compare it with the lease figures above. Who Leases the Van

What You Need to Apply
Leasing is open to companies and private individuals. A basic credit eligibility check applies, with proof of steady income or business registration.
- Companies: business registration documents, a VAT certificate and corporate bank statements.
- Individuals: a valid driving licence, passport or ID, and proof of address and income.
- Every driver: a valid licence. A standard category B licence covers vans up to 3,500 kg maximum authorised mass; ask us to confirm for our van.
Driving and Using the Van
- It is a manual, and our only manual vehicle.
- It has three seats in the front. Nobody may travel in the cargo area.
- Use paved roads only. Our rental terms do not allow off-road driving, the Akamas region or Northern Cyprus, so confirm the usage terms in your lease agreement.
- Do not overload it, and tie loads down.
- Contact us if a warning light appears. Do not arrange your own repairs without asking.
Checking the Van at Handover
- Walk round the van and photograph any existing marks, inside the cargo area as well as outside.
- Check the fuel level and the mileage, since the lease includes the first 20,000 km.
- Confirm the deposit, the insurance arrangements and the service schedule in your agreement.
- Test the sliding door, the rear doors and the parking sensors before you load it.
At the End of the Lease
At the end of the term you can return the van, extend the lease, or buy it at an agreed price. If you would rather own a van from the start, look at our sales and finance options.

We can deliver the van to your business or home in Paphos town, at Paphos Airport and in Chloraka, Kissonerga, Peyia, Coral Bay, Tala, Empa and Mesa Chorio. Please book 24 hours before. Further out, call the shop; delivery there has an extra charge.
