Honda Fit Automatic Hire in Paphos: The Versatile Compact
Our fleet listing describes the Honda Fit as a premium compact hatchback offering versatile seating arrangements and excellent comfort. In practice that means you can adapt the cabin to the trip: seats for passengers on some days, room for awkward luggage or shopping on others. It is a small car outside and a flexible one inside, which is why it suits travellers whose plans change from day to day.
This guide covers what you get, who the Fit suits, what it costs by the month, and what to know before you book. CHMI Rentals has served Paphos for over 23 years from Tombs of the Kings Avenue.

Who the Honda Fit Suits
- Travellers with mixed loads. One day it is people, the next it is a large shopping trip or a bulky bag, and the seating adapts.
- Longer drives. Comfort is what our listing highlights, which matters on cross-island trips.
- Residents on a monthly plan. Monthly rental and lease prices are in the table above.
- Anyone who wants a step up from a basic city car while keeping a compact size for parking.
The Fit is priced above the Nissan Note and Suzuki Swift, which reflects the extra comfort. If cost is your only concern, compare it with the Nissan Note first.
What the Honda Fit Costs by the Month
For daily and weekly rates, pick your dates on the fleet page, because they depend on the season and the length of the rental. For stays of a month or more, the monthly rental price is €650. It is the most expensive of our compact automatics on monthly rental and lease prices, which reflects its premium positioning.
- Monthly rental: €650 a month, with the flexibility of a long-term rental.
- Lease, 3 to 6 months: €610 a month. See our short-term car lease guide.
- Lease, 6 to 12 months: €540 a month.
- Lease, 24 months: €480 a month.
- Lease, 36 months: €420 a month, which is €230 a month less than the monthly rental. A €500 refundable deposit applies to leases.
A lease is a fixed-term agreement, so choose it only when you know how long you will keep the car. If your plans are uncertain, the monthly rental is the safer choice. Leasing terms, servicing and mileage are explained on our car leasing page.
How the Honda Fit Compares With Our Other Compact Automatics
All four compact cars in our fleet are 2020 automatics with five seats, air conditioning, a radio and a USB port. The differences are in what each one is best at, and in the monthly price, which you can compare in the table near the top of this page. If you need more room than any of them offer, look at SUV rental such as the Nissan X-Trail.
Driving the Honda Fit Around Paphos
A compact suits the tight streets of the old town and the harbour, while the comfort helps on longer runs, for example from Paphos Airport to Coral Bay or along the A6 motorway. Take a few minutes at handover to adjust the seat, mirrors and indicators, because in Cyprus we drive on the left and roundabouts run clockwise.
What You Need to Rent the Honda Fit
Drivers must be over 21, or have at least 3 years of driving experience. Bring a valid driving licence and your passport or ID. You can pay in cash, so you do not need a credit card, and a passport is left as security under our terms. Fuel should be returned at the same level as you received it. Off-road driving, the Akamas region and Northern Cyprus are not permitted. Confirm your exact car when you book. Read more about renting without a credit card.
