Car Hire in Polis and Latchi: The Quiet North-West Coast

Polis Chrysochous and the nearby fishing harbour of Latchi sit on the north-west coast of Cyprus, roughly an hour from Paphos. The atmosphere is quieter and more local than the main tourist strips: a small town square, waterfront tavernas, a gently shelving beach and boats leaving the harbour for the coast. Public transport is limited, so a rental car transforms the trip. This guide explains how to reach the area, what to see, and how CHMI Rentals can deliver a car to you here.

Why Visitors to Polis and Latchi Choose CHMI

  • Collect and drive up. Polis and Latchi are not part of our delivery area, so most guests collect the car at Paphos Airport or our shop.
  • Cars suited to the coast road, from compact automatics to roomy SUVs.
  • No credit card needed. You can pay in cash.
  • A phone call away. Anything unusual, we sort out with you directly.

The north-west coast attracts visitors who want quiet beaches, harbour lunches and slower days. Public transport is limited, so a car is the difference between seeing one beach and seeing the whole coast.

Why Rent a Car for Polis and Latchi?

  • Limited buses. Services between villages are infrequent and easy to miss.
  • Spread-out sights. Beaches, viewpoints, villages and harbours are several kilometres apart.
  • Freedom. Stop where you like for a swim or lunch, and avoid the crowds.
  • Value for groups. A single car beats repeated taxi fares on longer trips.
